“ I took my son to Sawyer’s for an early dinner and we had to try everything. We got brisket fried rice which was really good, Mac and cheese and potato salad were delicious, the jalapeño sausage was amazing, brisket and pulled pork were great but the star for me was the pork belly burnt ends. WOW. They were melt in your mouth, so fatty and flavourful! I would go back just for them. My son loved trying all the bbq sauces on the table and ate all the waffle fries so they must have been good! Highly recommend giving them a try. Price is high but well worth it for sure!!! You get what you pay for. ”

“ Oh man! What a joint. Super friendly service, excellent food and a cool vibe with good music. Had the smoked Caesar which was awesome, pork belly burnt ends which melt in your mouth and then we had the smash burger and the fat bastard. Everything was great, sauces are awesome and did I mention the service was great? It costs a little more than some places but it’s well worth it. Good food and good service can be a little more, I’ll definitely be going back when I’m in town. Highly recommend this place. ”

“ Ordered the Sawyer's Cheesesteak, half a pound of beef brisket, the max and cheese, and the coleslaw. The sandwich was great - the combination of flavors came together well and was very satisfying, but the beef brisket was even better! It was soft and tender, and when paired with the Coffee Whisky sauce tasted absolutely delectable. The mac and cheese was also amazing; the breading on top adds a solid texture and I am a big fan of the shell noodles. The service itself was very prompt and polite, with honestly little wait time considering how busy dinner time was. Definitely a place I can see myself returning to! ”

“ Drove down from London today to have lunch with a couple of old friends that I hadn't seen in a while. (And, we like BBQ! But we also had to try this because I saw Jesse from dinein519 do a good review. I absolutely had to come try it!) And try I did!!! I had 1/3 lb of brisket, 1/3 rack of ribs, some pork burnt ends, a cheddar jalapeño sausage, Mac & cheese, and corn bread (I had to try a bunch of stuff! Took a lot or leftovers home.) Everything was absolutely FANTASTIC. Amazing food. Now, if you are going with friends, pay careful attention (we didn't - we were all too busy talking to notice initially!) - when they bring your food out, they don't necessarily separate orders by person. REMEMBER WHAT YOU ORDERED! Mark, our server, did sort of casually mention that, but we didn't catch on at first. So my two very hungry friends ended up eating my brisket and some of the burnt ends. (Oops!) All that being said, Mark and his crew fixed the mix up, I got my food, and all was well (and very tasty). "No harm no foul", right? (Pun sort of intended - they have a fried chicken sandwich on the menu by that same name. My friend ordered that, and said he enjoyed it.) If you like southern style BBQ, I highly recommend this place. You can thank me later. ”
